Finland Fest in Japan

Finland Fest has been organized since 2006 and it plays a key role in presenting Finnish bands to Japanese music industry professionals. This year performing at Metal Attack showcase night are Amoral, Insomnium, Profane Omen and Swallow the Sun, at Hokuo Music Night the Japanese are presented with the beautiful tunes of Husky Rescue, and friends of folk music can enjoy the performances of Maria Kalaniemi, Arto Järvelä and Timo Alakotila.

Organized by Music Export Finland in co-operation with the Finnish Music Information Center Fimic and the Finnish Institute in Japan in Tokyo on May 25-28, Finland Fest is an event consisting of seminars, Finnish-Japanese sales day, Finnish music campaign and showcase-performances.
