Minna Leinonen

Kirkas, hämärä, kirkas (Bright, shadowy, bright) (2011) for guitar got its inspiration from a poem collection having the same title, written by author Eeva-Liisa Manner. The piece is based on contrasts: freely vibrating sounds consisting of wide chords and high flageolets - and damped or quiet sounds which sensitize the listener to what I call shadowy.
