Harri Wessman’s Insect Opera’s Russian premiere in Petrozavodsk

Harri Wessman’s 'Insect Opera' (Grasshoppers and Ants, 1998) will be performed in Petrozavodsk, Russia 24th of April. The performance takes place at Children’s Music and Theatre Festival called “Golden Keys”. The opera will be performed by the choir of Petrozavodsk Children’s Art School, as well as a group of local professional musicians. Wessman will also take part in a seminar focusing on the role of art and theatre in upbringing of children.
