Anssi Tikanmäki Film Orchestra to perform in Belgium, Austria and France

Anssi Tikanmäki and his Film Orchestra have been invited to perform live the music for the Aki Kaurismäki silent film 'Juha' in Belgium, Austria and France. In these film screenings the Film Orchestra will substitute the recorded soundtrack of the film.

The first performance will take place at Festival van Vlaanderen, Brussels, on September 9. The music for 'Juha', composed by Tikanmäki himself, will be heard also in at Kontraste Festival in Krems, Austria, on September 30, and at Festival Les Boréales, Caen, France, on November 26.

In August was released the new Tikanmäki album 'Tuntematon maa', a continuation for his orchestral work recording 'Maisemakuvia Suomesta' that was issued as early as 25 years ago. These works will be performed by the Anssi Tikanmäki Orchestra on a concert hall tour in Finland on September 16-23.
