Koskinen's Madame de Sade at e-concerthouse

Juha T. Koskinen's recent opera Madame de Sade will be seen at e-concerthouse's Internet portal, www.e-concerthouse.com from 1 March to 30 April 2011.

Madame de Sade is a production of the Helsinki based opera company Ooppera Skaala (Helsinki Skaala Opera). The libretto is based on a play by japanese author Yukio Mishima. The recording now seen at e-concerthouse was made at the live performances in the Helsinki venue Korjaamo in last August, with counter-tenor Teppo Lampela, mezzo sopranos Essi Luttinen and Jeni Packalèn, sopranos Mari Palo, Laura Heinonen and Taina Piira, and dancer Thomas Freundlich. The instrumental ensemble was conducted by Eva Ollikainen.

The e-concerthouse portal was founded in 2007 to improve the classical music supply in the Internet, and the new web pages for the portal were published in February 2011. The recordings can be followed free of charge. Madame de Sade is the first opera work to be seen in the portal's repertoire.
