Johanna Juhola Reaktori and Alamaailman vasarat to Nordic Club

Womex 2011 has now announced all the nine bands playing the co-Nordic showcase stage, titled Nordic Club. The Finnish acts chosen to this much anticipated series are Johanna Juhola Reaktori and Alamaailman vasarat. The Nordic Club showcases, presenting top-notch music from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Faroe Islands, will be running on all three showcase festival nights: 27, 28 and 29 October. The gig dates and times of the Finnish acts will be announced soon.

Womex World Music Expo, taking place 27-30 October 2011, will now be located now for the third time in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Nordic presence is extensive also this year, featuring e.g. a joint Nordic area at the trade fair.
