These two works [Råd and Strand] were part of a project run by the Ears Open! society to bring modern music to the music institutes. They are composed for children and can be played with a very moderate performing technique. The pieces are atonal and using motivic technique. Thus they teach children that music can be more than just a beautiful triad.

Nämä kaksi teosta [Råd ja Strand] olivat osa Korvat Auki -yhdistyksen projektia viedä uutta musiikkia musiikkiopistoon. Teokset on sävelletty lapsia varten; niistä tulisi selvitä n. 3/3 tason soittotaidoilla. Kappaleet ovat atonaalisia ja motiiviteknisiä opettaen lapsille jo varhaisessa vaiheessa, ettei musiikin tarvitse olla vain kaunista kolmisointua.
